How many hours a week does someone in your accounts receivable position spend chasing down invoices? Most of us shudder at the thought. Even worse if you're a small operation and have to take valuable time away from doing what you love.
Automated invoice chasing takes away that hassle. Rather than spending time writing email after email, or even sending the same template over and over; automating your invoicing process can take a task that is tedious even at the best of times, and turn it into a painless process.
Automation is faster, more consistent, and cheaper than humans. The number one tip to getting your invoices paid on time (or at all), is to consistently remind your client that the invoice is either nearly due, or overdue. Polite persistence is the key because eventually your client will get tired of seeing the late notice emails and pay just to get you off their back. Personalized emails are even better. If you use a computer to perform this automatically, it is one less task for your team to juggle.
With polite, persistent reminders, your clients are more likely to pay you; and more importantly, they will get in the habit of paying you on time. Automatic invoice chasing makes getting paid on time easier, which means more money in your pocket.
